United Airlines Launches Nonstop Service Between Bergen and New York/Newark

United Airlines has launched its new three-times weekly nonstop seasonal service between Bergen Airport and its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport, celebrating the arrival of its first flight into Bergen today.With the introduction of this new route, United is the only airline connecting Bergen with the U.S. and the only U.S. airline to fly from Norway. The new flight is United’s first-ever service between Bergen and New York."As the only airline connecting Bergen with the United States, we are excited to launch this new service to our New York/Newark hub," said Marcel Fuchs, United Managing Director International Sales. "This new flight further expands our Europe route network and provides our customers with a direct link from Bergen to the New York area, as well as the possibility to connect via our Newark hub to over 85 destinations across the Americas. This new route also provides a vital gateway between western Norway and the U.S., offering easier access for both business travellers and tourists visiting the world-renowned fjords."
