Air Canada Rouge launched its new seasonal non-stop service from London Gatwick to Toronto today with a celebration at London Gatwick Airport. Air Canada Rouge is Air Canada’s leisure airline and will operate daily to Air Canada’s Toronto hub, Toronto Pearson International Airport, until 16 October 2016 (westbound).
Air Canada was joined by the Deputy High Commissioner of Canada to the United Kingdom, Alan H. Kessel, and Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer, London Gatwick Airport, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the departure gate to inaugurate the new service.“We are excited to launch this new service from London Gatwick to Toronto today,” said Margaret Skinner, Air Canada’s Director Sales Europe. “Our London Gatwick customers will experience a new kind of leisure travel with outstanding customer service and a host of Air Canada benefits, all at competitive fares.”
